Samsung W960: 3D at your Finger Tips

in Around the World, Korea, Samsung

South Korea is not only the global leader in Internet speeds (testing 1gbps), but is also in control of mobile phone technology as well. Brought to you by a AMOLED 3D display, I present you with the world’s first 3D phone. Regardless of popular belief, 3D glasses are not required for viewing.

Specifications:

- 3.2″ AMOLED Capacitive Touchscreen
- 240×400 WQVGA resolution
- Samsung’s TouchWiz 2.0 OS
- 3.2 MP camera
- DMB-T TV tuner
- HSPA connectvity
- Bluetooth
- up to 16gb microSD card support

It brings tears to my eyes knowing that the rest of the world will not be able to get its hands on this phone as of right now, unless you are planning a trip to South Korea in the near future that is. However, not all hope is lost. I am certain that this phone will be released in the United States in the near future, pending FCC approval of course. Stay tuned for release dates in the U.S and more!
