The next potential “iPhone Killer” is on the loose in the streets! Only a few lucky Sprint subscribers were able to get their hands on it. Android is surely on the move for the #1 Mobile OS spot. Here’s what one lucky fan, Isaac Blandford, had to say:

HTC EVO 4G Feedback review

- The speaker on the back of the phone (used for music and speaker phone) is great very clear and very loud.

- There are apps for almost everything. Shopping, music, travel, banking, games, weather, and anything you can imagine.

- 8mp camera is very clear….very good pics.

- 7 main screens, including one home screen. Can slide to the side to access the other main screens. Google search, main, web, sprint, facebook, calander, and speed dial are the screens.

- Very integrated, facebook friends automatically added to phone book, and their birthdays are even added to the calander automatically.

- Video is pretty good, but haven’t tried HD video yet. Does have mini HDMI port on bottom of phone.

- Rubber backing on the phone for durability.

- Large 4.3″ screen. It’s huge! Phone isn’t annoyingly thick, but not super thin. Still thin enough for good pocket-ability.

-4g service is only in certain areas. There is currently only like 15 markets in the US with 4g coverage. Uses 3g when 4g is unavailable, but it is still very quick when using 3g.

- Apps continue to run even when you go to your main screen, so an app killer application is necessary. There are many available in the app market for free, so no worries.

- Sprint does not have a contract with the NFL anymore, so no more live game streaming, but you can watch delayed games, and still get up to date info on any team, game, and standings.

- Nascar is more integrated, so you can follow races live and actually listen in on your favorite race team’s game day headset!

- Came with an 8gb micro memory card in phone, and they threw in 2 screen protectors and a cloth for upgrading on first day!!

- Costs $329.99 with full upgrade, but get a $100 mail in rebate. Not available for sale yet. Just for new lines of service and those eligible for a full upgrade.

Technorati claim: FHTZXP4HE9GW

I ordered the Nokia N900 on February 25th from NewEgg.com and after days and days of waiting and checking the mail, I finally received my phone. I then opened the box while I was walking, turned the phone on, and everything seemed to be working fine. Next, I proceeded to load my sim-card and turn on the phone when suddenly the screen went blank. After time and time of pressing the power button, the Nokia N900 just would not boot up. After throughly searching the Internet, I came to realization that I am not the only person experiencing this problem. There are many Nokia N900 users across the globe that have encountered the same issues I have had with mine. The only conclusion that can be derived from my extensive research is that faulty shipping had to have played a role in this malfunction.

Overall, I think the Nokia N900 is one of the hottest phones on the market. Somebody at Apple must have sabotage a batch of phones. I am extremely disappointed because I have owned many popular phones and out of all of them this is the only one to not work out the box, or just plain crashed on me.

At this point I do not know who is to blame. Someone had to have knowledge of this problem but fail to do something about. Who would you blame?
