I knew it would not be long until Samsung entered the competition for the top Smart Phone Spot. I have to admit, the Samsung Galaxy S is quite impressive with its laundry list of functions. You will quickly notice that the Galaxy was defiantly designed with the user in mind. The great thing about the Galaxy S is that all of the features listed bellow come standard. What does this mean to you? There’s no jail breaking involved in order to get your favorite everyday features that you enjoy. Specifications specific to this phone is another discussion all together, so let’s get into the features!

Conclusion

After seeing this phone and its features, I would tell Motorola and others to halt their releases and go back to the drawing boards. I have never particularly been a fan of Samsung in the past, but this mobile phone has definitely made me a believer in what kind of product Samsung is putting on the market . I just love how the Android Mobile OS is making waves in the smart phone market and giving the Apple OS a run for its money. The only sub par features that I have noticed are the camera and the memory space, but the MicroSD expansion makes up for it. Moreover, the Galaxy S will be released on July 21, but you can pre-order it now at RadioShack under the name Captivate for AT&T, Vibrant on T-Mobile, and Epic 4G on Sprint. Now that you have heard what I have to say, what’s your take?

After all the enhancements done to Apple’s iPhone, we now are ready for the next generation of iPhone technology, 4G. The big question is when will it be available? Some sources say 90 days, and others say 2011. I guess only time will tell which one it would be within the next couple of months. The consumer price has not been disclosed, however expect prices to be in the $300-$400 price range.

Rumored Features:

- Sleeker design
- iPhone 4.1 Operating System (OS)
- 800 MHz processor
- Improved 3-D graphics
- Improved battery life
- Rifid reader technology into the touchscreen
- 100 Mbps – 1GBps download and 50 Mbps upload speeds
- Internet tethering optional with additional monthly payment
- HD output
- Better app organization and file management
- More memory up to 64 GB
- 802.11n support
- Slide Qwerty keyboard
- 8.0 megapixel Carll Zeiss optics camera
- Video calling capability
- Better sound quality from build-in speakers
- Google Voice support
- You will be able to turn pages by flicking your finger over the camera vice touching the screen

Bottom Line, the iPhone 4G could take Apple to an even higher level if all the features listed above are included. Don’t expect the iPhone 4G to be available on other carriers just yet, AT&T’s monopoly will still remain in the U.S., the same way SoftBank does in Japan with no plan of changing. This sounds too good to be true, what do you think?
